COUNTDOWN TO KICKOFF

Greetings, Fellow Graterheads!

First of all, let me apologize for being off the grid the last couple months. I usually keep up with emails as best I can, but have fallen several weeks behind (mostly due to moving my family into a new home). It's just little old me running this whole show right now, so between the move and keeping things going with production setup, time has been a precious commodity. Unfortunately, customer service took the biggest hit. That's not okay with me, and I know it's not okay with you, so please forgive me. There are more hurdles than you could imagine getting a product on shelves out of thin air. I set up this blog to give some transparency to that process, and to provide a common place for everyone to get up-to-date status reports.

As most (if not all) of you know, taking these final production steps has taken much longer than expected. Several factors have contributed to this delay, but what we're encountering right now is a chemical issue that has proven formidable. We could have easily gotten inferior product out the door long before now if we were willing to compromise, but after finding out our last manufacturer cut corners—and suffering the consequences of those shortcuts—I am determined to deliver Graterheads of the highest quality achievable in the U.S. (no small feat, considering the competition and what they are able to do with illegal chemicals overseas). We have to find ways to make things happen that are safe for the people working on the production line, without shorting customers on craftsmanship. This is my #1 goal, and I will not be deterred.

In posts to follow, I will walk you through what all we've encountered on our journey, and share photos to give you insight behind the scenes. My hope is to show you where the money you generously offered to get us across the finish line is being used, and ease your minds as to the validity of the pre-sale. It's never fun waiting for something you're excited for, I know. Especially after you've already paid for it. Please understand that I want each and every one of you to be wearing your hats as soon as possible—heck, I want to wear one right alongside you! I am doing everything I can to make that happen, I promise. And I truly believe it will be worth the wait!!!

I know you want answers, and I aim to give them. Thank you for your patience!

More to Come,
